Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes: After completing the course, the student
- is able to summarize the main content of a Russian text in writing and comment on it
- identify differences in text types
- is able to write written opinions and factual texts of different styles (review, summary, instructions, abstract, cover letter, essay)
- is able to identify grammatically and stylistically incorrect language forms in the text he / she produces and to reformat the text he / she produces with the help of the comments he / she receives
- is able to use modern auxiliary systems, resources and methods (corpora, online TM, e-dictionary, RegEx) in their written outputs to improve written skills
Content
The course is a continuation of Written Communication I (Russian as a foreign). During the course, students gain experience in writing various types of texts in Russian and deepen their knowledge of written Russian grammar and vocabulary. Students will also learn to use digital technology to improve the quality of their own text and practice oral presentation of written text in the classroom.
Modes of study
Study methods: 16 h of exercises and 65 h of independent work. Active participation in exercises (80% attendance), preparation of writing assignments and presentations and, if necessary, rewriting under supervision.
Evaluation criteria: Written assignments done at home and their correction, as well as some class assignments, will be graded. The grade is the average of the partial performances.
