Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student will be able to • profoundly combine theory and practice of inorganic chemistry in quantitative analysis in independent working and report the results

Content

Course consists of five experiments, which focus on (1) spectrophotometry, (2) complexometric titration, (3) nitrogen analysis, (4) redox-titration and (5) organometallic chemistry.

Modes of study

Work specific oral examinations (3-5 h) and independent supervised performing accepted analyses (5- d) in the student laboratory during the laboratory opening hours after accepted oral examination. Independent processing of results and written reporting of specified works (1-2 d).

Teaching methods

Oral examinations are taken in the student laboratory or on-line and the practical laboratory experiments in the student laboratory. The processing and written reporting of the results is done independently.

From 1.1.2023 Oral examinations and the practical laboratory experiments are done in the student laboratory. The processing and written reporting of the results is done independently.
