Teaching methods
Kirjatentissä opiskellaan itsenäisesti laadullisen analyysin periaatteita ja erilaisten laadullisten menetelmien erityispiirteitä kahden oppikirjan avulla.
Kirjat voi tenttiä vain sähköisessä Exam-tentissä.

Kirjatentin tekijöiden arvosana muodostuu 2 kirjan tentistä (100%)

Learning outcomes
The student knows the principles of qualitative research design. The student is familiar with the main ways of analyzing qualitative data and is able to apply them.
Content
General principles of qualitative research design and analysis, reporting and evaluating the research. The qualitative methods presented in the course are based on the current research of visiting lecturers. The methods are learned to apply through small excerices
Modes of study
a) lectures and essay OR b) Literary exam (two books).
Evaluation criteria: 0 -5 a) Lectures, weekly assignments and an essay (1-5), OR b) two books (1-5)
Teaching methods
Lectures with excercises 20 h, independent study.
